“Masks Off”

One Black conversation. One white conversation.
A million things to talk about.

Why is “Masks Off” special?

Because it provides an example of what an honest dialogue around racism might look like in the United States. It is our goal to model civil conversation about hard-to-discuss issues.

I’m interested in this series. How can I get involved?

Glad you asked! There are a lot of great things happening, so we’ll answer some of your most frequently asked questions here…

  • One of the best ways to watch is at a “watch party.” While all of our own scheduled watch parties have run their course, we’re encouraging other organizations to use these “Masks Off” clips to facilitate discussions around racism and healing.

  • Select excerpts / video clips from each watch party have been posted to this web page. (These excerpts are very useful for a focused, theme-based dialogue.) The full, unabridged “Masks Off” conversations (Parts 1 & 2) are also viewable on this web page. (While these are roughly 1.5 hours each, they are beautiful pieces in that they represent a complete, unedited dialogue.)
